- Interior - Reconstruction of the P. O. Hviezdoslav Gymnasium building with an addition to the School of Art Industry building in Kezmark (II. STAGE) Description: Implementation project of the second stage of the interior of the Pavle Orszagh Hviezdoslav Gymnasium or additions to the School of Art Industry building in Kezmark is divided into six parts as part of the contract. The construction works consisted of the restoration and rebuilding of the flood-damaged gymnasium building and the extension of the new building of the School of Art Industry in Kezmark. The south-eastern facade of the gymnasium remains intact after the reconstruction historical features of neoclassicism with decorative cornices, arched and richly segmented windows, decorative window sashes, and on the opposite side, an extension created space for the integration of the schools of the historical gymnasium and the new building of the School of Art Industry. Newly created The "heart" of the school consists of the spaces on the ground floor (foyer, dining room) and the "art square" on the 2nd floor, which are connected by a spiral staircase and illuminated by a large stress skylight. The project documentation of the interior of the building builds on the previous documentation for building permit and implementation of the building in question. The relevant documentation specifies the design of the room, equipment and end elements. Reference rooms were also evaluated in terms of lighting technology and room acoustics. Based on the results of these the necessary measures were proposed for the simulation to meet the requirements in terms of valid STN and relevant announcements. The goal of the project was to create a modern space in harmony with the historical Kezmark for the education of students in conditions that meet the standards 21st century.
