• Description:
• The public contracting authority is conducting Preparatory Market Consultations (hereinafter referred to as "PTK") for the subject "medical linear accelerator with online adaptive radiotherapy". Description of the PTK subject: The current radiotherapy practice is based on a work procedure in which the a 3D image of a patient undergoing radiotherapy treatment is acquired - typically by means of a CT scan - and this image is used as a model of the patient for the calculation of the treatment radiation plan, and at the same time as a reference image for positioning him during treatment. Radiotherapy treatment usually lasts several days to weeks, during which various external or internal anatomical changes of the patient occur. On-line adaptive radiotherapy makes it possible to obtain a sufficiently high-quality current image of the patient, which it can be used to adjust (adapt) his radiation plan to current anatomical-topological conditions. This maximizes the individual adaptation of radiotherapy for the given patient while minimizing unwanted irradiation of the surrounding healthy tissues. The radiation device, which is the subject of the specification, enables, in addition to adaptive radiotherapy, treatment with a standard procedure for patients who do not need adaptation, while also for this group of patients it provides better verification imaging for increasing the accuracy of radiotherapy.
