Description:
The section of the Paludza (Liptovsky Mikulaš) Liptovsky Hradok railway line is part of the Va branch. corridor no. V. The beginning of the 5th stage is determined at km 240,100, the end of the stage is at km 258,650.
The main purpose of the construction is to modernize the technical infrastructure of the railway line to reach European parameterscosts according to international agreements: AGC from 1985 and from 1993.
The main criteria for the modernization of the railway infrastructure of this section are:
•increasing track speed up to 160km/h, including in the longest possible sections without sudden speed jumps (up to 20km/h)
•passability of vehicles for the kinematic contour of the carIdle UIC C and cross-section UIC GC
•bearing capacity of the railway top and the corresponding bearing capacity of the railway subgrade for load capacity class D4 UIC (weight per axle 22.5t)
•passability of railway bridge structures for the UIC-71 load train and spatial arrangement according to STN 73 6201.New bridges should be designed for loads according to the Eurocode
•reconstruction of railway stations to achieve useful lengths of main and approach tracks of at least 750m, other transport tracks 700m (exceptionally 650m); platforms with edges 550 mm above the top of the rail (TK) with a length of 250 m at all stopsand stations, in stations with regular stops of EC, IC, Ex or R trains with a length of 400m; platform system with collision-free - off-level access for passengers and with the modification of all communications for pedestrians in the areas of stations and stops for persons with reduced mobility
