• Modernization of road II/575, Palota as part of the project Connecting the Eastern Carpathian Borders Description: The subject of the order is the modernization of road II/575 in the district of Medzilaborce. The planned section of the road is situated in the outskirts of the village of Palota, with the end of the section in the place of the borders. The total length of the resolved section is 1,144 m. Road II/575 in the treated section is in an unsatisfactory construction and technical condition. The beginning of the solved section is in the cumulative station at km 37.830 and the end of the section at km 38.974. There are damages on the road in the form of cracks, dips and disintegrated wear layer of the road. Part of the contract is also the modernization of the area for turning vehicles for winter maintenance. Road II/575 is managed by the public contractor - Road Management and Maintenance of the Presov Self-governing Region, area Humane.
