• Description:
• The construction of the reconstruction of the bridge is located in the cadastral area of ​​the municipality of Opatovce nad Nitrou near Bojnice on road III. class no. 1773 in the direction of Bojnice - Nováky. The road improvement starts at km 1.383, has a length of 120 meters and ends at km 1.503. Construction solves construction new bridge building over the Nitra in the place of the existing bridge. The existing bridge structure from 1960 will be demolished and replaced by a new bridge. The reason why it was decided to demolish the existing bridge is its very poor structural condition and unsatisfactory width arrangement. From the point of view of the construction and technical condition, the bridge is on the verge of its useful life. There are several serious faults in the load-bearing structures, the remediation of which would be ineffective. These mainly include: static cracks, corrosion of the main reinforcement, falling off and crumbling of concrete. From a spatial point of view, traffic is possible on the bridge in only one lane, as the width of the road is only 4.5 meters and the total width of the bridge is 5.7 meters. At the same time, the construction of the bridge does not allow for its expansion. The bridge has no sidewalks, on a separate steel footbridge owned by the municipality serves to cross pedestrians along the road.
