• Description:
• The construction of the reconstruction of the bridge is located in the cadastral area of ​​the municipality of Opatovce nad Nitrou near Bojnice on road III. class no. 1773 in the direction of Bojnice - Novaky. The road improvement starts at km 1.383, has a length of 120 meters and ends at km 1.503. The construction deals with the construction of a new bridge over the Nitra in the town of the existing bridge. The existing bridge structure from 1960 will be demolished and replaced by a new bridge. The reason why it was decided to demolish the existing bridge is its very poor structural condition and inadequate width arrangement. From the point of view of the construction and technical condition, the bridge is on the edge of its life lifespan. There are several serious faults in the load-bearing structures, the remediation of which would be ineffective. These include in particular: static cracks, corrosion of the main reinforcement, spalling and disintegration of concrete. From a spatial point of view, traffic in only one lane is possible on the bridge, due to the width of the road is only 4.5 meters and the total width of the bridge is 5.7 meters. At the same time, the construction of the bridge does not allow for its expansion. The bridge has no sidewalks, a separate steel footbridge owned by the municipality is used for crossing pedestrians along the road.
