• Reconstruction of the P. O. Hviezdoslav Gymnasium building with an extension to the School of Art Industry in Kezmark Description: The subject of the contract is the reconstruction and extension of the P. O. Hviezdoslav Gymnasium building, which is included in the list of national cultural monuments (hereinafter NCP). The school building and its grounds are located in the monument area of ​​the Kezmarok Monument Reserve. The project deals with the reconstruction and modernization of the existing building and the construction of a new part for the location of 2 secondary schools in 1 building. For the integration of Gymnasium P. O. Hviezdoslava and the School of Art Industry into one building and the creation of a social center with a dining room for the subject schools, it is necessary to build approx. 2,500 m2 of new usable area, which is proposed as follows:- In the courtyard part (from Ul. M. Lanyi) build an extension to the dining room with a food outlet, which will serve as the main social space of the school outside of lunch hours. A library with a relaxation area will also be part of the social area. In this way, the new heart of the school will be created in the form of an open multifunctional one of space.- Above the gymnasium and the dining room, it is proposed to build spaces for the School of Art Industry: studios, classrooms, temporary warehouses, etc.- In front of the building on plot 1103, it is proposed to manage the access road and manage the park. The goal of this project is to create a modern space for the education of students in conditions that meet the standards of the 21st century.
